Drug / Fentanyl awareness and Narcan® training will be provided to the participants and counselors of Camp Cassidy which is hosted by Cassidy Joined for Hope. This is 1 hour during the weekend long camp.
Camp Cassidy empowers teens to become compassionate leaders and mental health advocates. Through hands-on learning in a supportive environment, participants gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to care for themselves and their peers. The camp focuses on recognizing mental health warning signs, practicing healthy coping strategies, and leading with empathy. Campers will also be equipped to advocate for mental health in their schools, fostering a culture of awareness and support. By encouraging help-seeking behaviors and peer support, we aim to reduce stigma and build resilience. Our goal is to inspire a generation of teens who prioritize well-being and uplift those around them on their journey to purpose and joy.
